Data Management of your Research Project: When to do what?

Before your research project starts: Data Management Plan

After you designed your study and before submitting your study for ethics approval, you need to complete the Data Management Plan (DMP) tool. In case the research team has advanced questions regarding data management, SHE researchers can contact the Datahub Service Desk for advice through this online form.

In case the ethical review committee wants changes in the data management plan or the consent letter, you need to update the DMP before you start the research project. Read more about general data safety principles here.
